Here at Something Happened Somewhere Once, we love tiny stories from history, so it was with a massive dollop of relish that we discovered a box of old beermats from the 60s, 70s and 80s. We’ll be sharing the entire collection around fifty little nuggets from the golden age of boozing (or one of them).
First up is this wonderfully clean design from age-old Danish brewery, Carlsberg.
Meaning “Court” in Danish, the name refers to the beer’s Royal Warrant.
